LTT Activities Latvia (4/2023)
This activity was implemented with the participation of all partner schools. All partners prepared game scenarios, video, presentations and research on social bullying before the mobility. During
the mobility two main activities took place: students presented their research on social bullying and acted out scenarios related to the theme of the activity. The main objective of this activity was to
teach students how to react in a social bullying situation. Students also improved their empathy skills. In addition, they learned about the reasons for bullying in school and ways to create a calmer
atmosphere during the learning and teaching process. Mobility was slightly disrupted by the national strike of Latvian teachers. However, despite this complication, the meeting schedule was kept
on schedule. An organizational meeting for teachers was held during the mobility. The teachers discussed the final phase of the project and plans for dissemination of the project activities. All
mobility participants developed their relationships through team building activities during all the mobility days. They attended workshops on music making and took part in an exhibition at the
Latvian National Library.
This mobility offered students and teachers a deeper understanding of the concept of social bullying in theory and in practice thanks to Forum Theatre. Students gained knowledge and
experience through exploring social bullying. Through Forum Theatre they learned their own learning strategies. The aim of this Forum Theatre activity was to enable participants to identify and
understand the meaning, reasons, outcomes and impacts of socialical bullying. A direct benefit of this learning activity for the participants was the development of their knowledge and language
skills. The mobility was also beneficial for the students and teachers of the host school. In addition to the skills they gained in the preparation of the meeting, they also participated in some of the
activities implemented in the mobility and developed their knowledge and language skills.
